Things I do with Chatling

Hi all, I’ve been using Chatling for nearly 18 months. Each day I try to improve on my usage for my clients so I’d like to tell you what I’m doing, maybe share ideas to all our benefits.

1) From a nearly stage I created a simple https script which wrote the Chatling variables into a database. It includes the question, the answer, and user details that we capture via response blocks. eg name, email, company, telephone number.

2) The data is not only automatically added to my database, but also sent as an email message to my client so they know to check the database, via a dashboard I built to see conversations, react to them, confirm the accuracy of the AI answers etc.

3) In my dashboard I allow my clients to update the answers if the knowledgebase does not give their preferred response.

4) Basically I’ve been sending conversations from the builder since it was implemented!

5) In the builder I sometimes integrate with my clients’ stock control, ticketing or CRM systems. APIs are incredibly easy to use once you have got over the initial learning curve.

6) I am turning my database into a ticketing system and eventually a full CRM for smaller clients who don’t want to use any of the bigger, more expensive CRM systems.

7) I am using the WhatsApp integration a lot. In one case we have both the chatbot icon and the WhatsApp icon on the web page and almost every enquiry comes from WhatsApp. The benefit to our clients are they get to collect mobile numbers for re-marketing. (be careful to follow Meta’s rule against unsolicited messages).
